These Terms and Conditions govern your stay at Hotel Tejasvi and your use of our website. By making a booking or staying with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.
01Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, making a reservation, or staying at Hotel Tejasvi, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our website or services.
Hotel Tejasvi reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
02Reservations & Booking
All reservations at Hotel Tejasvi are subject to availability and confirmed only upon receipt of a booking confirmation from our staff via phone, WhatsApp, or in person at the hotel.
- Booking inquiries submitted through our website form or WhatsApp are considered requests until confirmed by our team.
- A reservation is only guaranteed upon written or verbal confirmation by Hotel Tejasvi staff.
- The hotel reserves the right to refuse a booking at its sole discretion, without being required to provide a reason.
- False or misleading information provided during booking may result in cancellation of the reservation.
03Check-In & Check-Out
- Early check-in before 12:00 PM may be accommodated subject to room availability and may attract an additional charge.
- Late check-out beyond 11:00 AM must be requested in advance and is subject to availability. Additional charges may apply.
- All guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar card, passport, driving licence, or voter ID) at check-in as required by applicable law.
- Guests are responsible for ensuring all their belongings are collected before check-out. Hotel Tejasvi will not be liable for items left behind after departure.
04Cancellation Policy
Hotel Tejasvi operates primarily on a direct-booking basis via phone and WhatsApp. The following cancellation guidelines apply:
- Cancellation more than 48 hours before check-in: Full refund of any advance payment made, subject to deduction of applicable bank or transfer charges.
- Cancellation within 24–48 hours of check-in: 50% of the first night's room rate may be charged as a cancellation fee.
- Cancellation within 24 hours of check-in or no-show: One full night's room rate may be charged.
- Peak season (festivals, public holidays, special events): More restrictive cancellation terms may apply. These will be communicated at the time of booking.
All cancellations must be communicated directly to the hotel by phone or WhatsApp. Hotel Tejasvi reserves the right to modify cancellation policies at its discretion.
05Payment Terms
Hotel Tejasvi accepts the following forms of payment:
- Cash (Indian Rupees)
- Debit and Credit Cards
- UPI payments — Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, and other UPI-enabled apps
Full payment for the stay is typically collected at check-in or check-out as agreed at the time of booking. The hotel reserves the right to request a deposit or advance payment for bookings during peak periods or for extended stays.
All quoted rates are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
06Guest Conduct
Hotel Tejasvi is a family-friendly property. We expect all guests to behave respectfully towards fellow guests, staff, and the property. The following conduct is strictly prohibited:
- Consumption of alcohol in rooms or common areas
- Smoking inside the hotel building (including rooms and corridors)
- Loud noise, music, or disturbance after 10:00 PM that may disturb other guests
- Bringing unauthorised visitors into guest rooms
- Any illegal activity on hotel premises
- Verbal or physical abuse of hotel staff or other guests
- Damage to hotel property, furniture, or fixtures
Hotel Tejasvi reserves the right to ask any guest to vacate the premises without refund if their conduct violates these guidelines or endangers the safety or comfort of others.
07Hotel Property
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to hotel property, including rooms, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and common areas, during their stay. The cost of repair or replacement of any damaged items will be charged to the guest.
Guests must not remove any hotel property — including towels, linens, or any other items — from the premises. Any such removal will be treated as theft and the full replacement cost will be charged.
08Liability
Hotel Tejasvi shall not be liable for:
- Any illness, injury, or death of a guest or visitor on the premises, unless directly caused by the gross negligence of the hotel
- Loss or damage to any vehicle parked on hotel premises
- Delays, changes, or cancellations of travel arrangements made by or on behalf of the guest
- Any loss or inconvenience caused by events beyond our control, including power outages, water supply issues, natural disasters, or civil disturbances
The hotel's liability to any guest, in any circumstance, shall not exceed the total amount paid by the guest for their stay.
09Valuables & Belongings
Hotel Tejasvi is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of any cash, jewellery, electronic devices, documents, or other valuables left in guest rooms or common areas.
Guests are strongly advised to keep valuables in their personal possession at all times. The hotel recommends that guests lock their room doors when inside and when leaving. If you have concerns about securing valuables, please speak to the front desk for assistance.
10Website Use
The content on our website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Hotel Tejasvi and is protected under applicable copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our prior written permission.
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the website.
11Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India.
